It is a great pleasure for the Ali Akbar College to welcome guest artists Indrani Mukherjee and Apurba Mukherjee for an evening recital at the Musik-Akademie on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 8 PM. Indrani is a very gifted young singer and we are all looking forward to her recital. She will also be teaching vocal classes at the college on November 18, 19 and 20 (Please see more information on the seminar page).

Sunday, June 19, 2011 *** 11.00 AM *** Salon de Musique *** Duets for Sitar and Cello

We are very happy that these three fine artists will be able to perform for us in Basel. As this is also just near the time (June 18) of the the second anniversary of the passing of the great teacher and founder of our College, Maestro Ali Akbar Khan, this concert will also be a chance for both artists and listeners to celebrate the memory of this wonderful teacher and performer, who spent so many years visiting us in Switzerland.
